Nick On Film
A collection of works since 2019
About the Artist
Nick Marin has been shooting and editing projects since 2012. His work ranges from horror films, to music videos, to local interviews, to promo material (and much more). He also has experience with photography, having executed concept shoots since 2020. His work is focused on people, morality, and shared strife, with the aim of platforming the internal landscapes that wind uniquely inside us.
Some early inspirations for Nick were Requiem For A Dream (2000) Poltergeist (1982) The Thing (1982) and Suspiria (1977). Growing up as a horror enthusiast, both the grotesque and the terrifying informed his ability to extrapolate strife into art. Life is horrifying. And it is from fear that we learn about ourselves and others. Without discomfort, where would the drive be for us to fight for better and love tenfold?
Miss Philippines
Trailer created for the Miss Philippines Pageant, held on February 1st, 2025 at the Newark Symphony Hall. A larger form video of the event is currently in the works.
Documentary '25
An intimate interview with 23 year old Brian Cordova. He recaps familial hardships, substance issues, and general misfortunes-- all with a smile on his face. This documentary acts as a testament to the idea that in life, it is perspective that contextualizes anything. Shooting this project spanned from September through November of 2024.

CH 22
July '22. Photoshoot based on the trope of TV as a conduit. In horror films, the motif of the TV is often utilized, whether it be in The Ring (2002), Videodrome (1983), Poltergeist (1982), and even the recent A24 film, I Saw The TV Glow (2024). Nick sought to pay homage to this symbol and its purgatorial nature. The music of Trish Keenan and its static sounds also contributed to inspiration behind these photos.
